Celtic FC is a club born of famine and oppression; created by immigrants for immigrants in 1888. Our supporters have had a history of challenging intolerance, inequality and discrimination ever since.
Recently, we have witnessed modern-day refugees and asylum seekers scapegoated and targeted in the UK in much the same way our ancestors were when they themselves arrived in Glasgow all those years ago.
Refuweegee have done incredible work over the last 9 years welcoming new neighbours to our city, and have helped many of them make Glasgow their home.
